The Mortal Realms are taking a swim next week with Fury of the Deep, a new Battle Box for Age of Sigmar. Check it out!

The seas of Aqshy roil with turmoil as an ancient grudge boils over, in a broiling imbroglio that pits angry lava dwarves against deep sea fish elves.

We’re talking about Fury of the Deep, a new Battle Box for Age of Sigmar. Fury of the Deep, which releases for pre-order next week brings Fyreslayers and Idoneth Deepkin. The two forces will fight each other in an “elemental war of survival.”

But their desperate struggle is your gain. The new battle box collects two mighty hosts of warriors. Inside the box you’ll get a grand total of 43 miniatures, including two new special characters.

The Fyreslayers are led by the Auric Flamekeeper, who draws strength from fallen comrades. The Idoneth Deepkin have dredged up the Akhelian Thrallmaster from the depths. He’s a master of the soulless Namarti and will doubtless make them better.

You’ll get a closer look at both of these miniatures over the next week. Here’s a look at everything in the box:

“Fury of the Deep also includes a 40-page booklet delving into the history of Aqshy, its aelven and duardin denizens, and the strife that continues to erupt despite an ostensible alliance between the forces of Order. The box contains 43 miniatures, a token sheet, and nine warscroll cards, as well as a 56-page Warhammer Age of Sigmar Core Rules book, all of which make it the perfect place to start a new Warhammer Age of Sigmar army (or two).”

Of course, the if you like the sea of the Mortal Realms, you’ll also want to check out the new Warhammer Underworlds War Band coming up for pre-order.

Meet Gorlok Blackpowder and his motley crew of two gnoblars, a bird, and a monkey. That’s probably the single best sentence anyone’s written. Gorlok is an Ogor pirate who was dragged into the Underworlds by a “predatory whirlpool.”

Now this aggressive warband gets ready for the new Rivals format:

“Rivals decks are ready-to-play selections of cards designed to get you into the Underworlds action as quickly and easily as possible, and Illusory Might gives your warband 32 brand new cards to shake up their strategies. The Illusory Might deck can be used with whichever Warband you fancy, meaning you can introduce entirely new play styles to your favourite miniatures.”
