Blood & Steel joins Firelock Games’s historical rulesets – and it looks great.

Have you heard of either Blood & Plunder or Blood & Valor? Both these games are made by the folks at Firelock Games. Recently, Firelock Games announced their entrance into Victorian aged combat with a new game called Blood & Steel.

If you are interested in historical wargames set between 1837 and 1901, you might want to keep you eyes on Firelock Games. Below we have some preview pictures and at the end there is a link to the Facebook Group where you can follow the development and progress of the game.

Blood & Steel Preview

A preview the cover on this upcoming book from Firelock Games.

There is still much to learn about this game, but Firelock Games sent me a few more pictures to share.

A nice teaser of artwork. Looks like the book will cover both the Zulu Wars and the American Civil War.

Some British soldiers taking on the Zulu.

Another look at that Civil War image, but larger this time.

As this game is part of Firelock Games Historical line of books, I am sure we might see some rule similarities to their other “Blood &” style of games.

Find Out More

To learn more, be sure to check out Firelock Games’ Website and to also check out the Facebook Page specifically for Blood & Steel.

Given the popularity of Blood & Plunder, I am guessing you already heard of that game of historical pirate combat. You might not have heard about their World War 1 Game (Blood & Valor). That game allows you to play WW1 miniatures games with about 25 to 40 figures per side.

A new two player bundle to get in on Blood & Valor.

Recently, Wargames Atlantic (I love that company, by the way) and Firelock Games teamed up to offer a fantastic deal on a starter set on Blood & Valor. You can get in on that game for just $99 in a new two player starter bundle off of the Firelock Games Website. You can find that deal here.

Wrapping it up…

The point of today’s article was to introduce you to some news about Blood & Steel. I don’t know too much about it yet, but I am a fan of Firelock Games and the fact that they are behind it makes the product exciting to me. I think we can expect some good things out of it and I am looking forward to more news about the upcoming release. If you are also interested, be sure to join and follow their Blood & Steel Facebook Group.
