Get ready for a new IP from the makers of Infinity. Corvus Belli is dipping their toes into the Fantasy genre with Warcrow!

Corvus Belli hosted their own seminar at AdeptiCon and they had some really cool stuff to show off. If you’re an Infinity fan you should be pumped.

That said, they did have one more teasers at the end of the presentation. They introduced Warcrow which is a new fantasy inspired IP from them.

To be honest, there’s not a ton of info from the trailer; It’s very abstract. However, they did offer up a roadmap for what you can expect for the IP coming down the pipe.

What Is Warcrow?

We also received a press release from them with more info that we can share with you.

The Warcrow universe is going to be Corvus Belli’s take on the fantasy genre. Expect Elves, humans, dwarves, and orcs all with that Corvus Belli style. Based on the Infinity range it should be quite impressive! The IP certainly sounds like an epic fantasy as well. To help introduce the world of Warcrow to the masses Corvus Belli is planning a pair of releases.

First up is Warcrow Adventures. This will be a Dungeon Crawler style game. There will be a kickstarter launching for the game towards the end of the year and it will be our first look at the game world and miniatures. Covus Belli also says that “Mechanically this Dungeon Crawler has a completely new rules engine and is completely different from anything developed so far by the Galician company.

The second planned release is Warcrow, el Wargame (Warcrow the Wargame). It’s slated to be published in 2023 and Corvus Belli is planning to do monthly releases for that game as well. They are looking to make Warcrow a complete product line as well. And, similar to the dungeon crawler, this will be a totally new product mechanically speaking. The two games will share a set of symbol-dice but will each be their own stand-alone games.

“For Belén Moreno, marketing manager, this is a “great opportunity to develop in a totally new environment. We are excited and we are strongly committed to this project. We have expanded the team to be able to face the challenges that lie ahead. After all, we have had to welcome orcs and elves into our ranks. And even the undead!””

A new product line from the makers of Infinity is exciting. Plus, it’s going to be their spin on the Fantasy genre and we’re looking forward to what they do with it. Oh…one last thing about the models: “This time they will be made of plastic.”
