There’s a new Rumor Engine out because it’s Tuesday. Let’s take a closer look at this fancy scanner.

I have a few ideas on this one but before I cloud your judgement with my own hot takes see the Rumor Engine for yourself.

“We’re two months into 2022 already, and the Rumour Engine is still going strong after that concerning incident with the Warp over Christmas. Now if only we could get it to show more than a sliver of the future…”

This one sure looks like some Imperial Tech. That’s looking a whole lot like an auspex that a Space Marine would use. However, I don’t think that’s a Space Marine’s fist. That camo painted on the inside of the wrist reminds me of something else.

The camo pattern looks a whole lot like the Kasrkin camo pattern. And even though those models might have been discontinued and the image is grayscale it’s still very iconic. This elite unit has been missing from the game for a while and it would be pretty epic to see them return.

They are one of the few remaining codexes we’re waiting on. How cool would it be to see them get a new plastic kit release?! Alternatively, there is the possibility that it’s part of the Tempestus Scions range, too.

I think these were supposed to replace the old Kasrkin models in spirit. And with the classic camo paint job they come close…but their armor is still different.

Whatever the case, that is very clearly an auspex. So at least we can confirm that much. So what do you think? What could this new Rumor Engine be? Let us know in the comments!
