Warhammer 40K: Imperial Knights Incoming

Games Workshop is teasing the next releases after Tyranids. Imperial Knights are stomping in.

It appears the Imperial Knights are going to be making an appearance sooner than expected. We might not have a roadmap for 40k but we also have a pretty good idea of what’s left. However, this announcement changes some things…

If you were wondering what codex was after Tyranids, well, I think this just answered that question. GW is also teasing reveals at AdeptiCon this week, too. So stay tuned for that.

After the Tyranid book who needs a codex for 9th edition?

• Astra Militarum
• Chaos Daemons
• Chaos Knights
• Chaos Space Marines

We’re either about to get a glut of Chaos books or it’s going to be Knights and Astra Militarum back-to-back. And then a TON of Chaos. We’ve all been waiting the entire edition for Chaos Marines get to some attention and hopefully this just means that GW is taking their time to get them right.

We’re also waiting to see if Chaos Daemons get a book. It’s possible that Chaos Marines and Daemons could get rolled into one book based on how GW treated the Ynnari/Harlequins this go around. Who knows how that’s going to pan out. Maybe we’ll get more info at AdeptiCon this year.

Don’t forget about Chaos Knights, too!

At least we know the rumbling in the distance wasn’t just the Hive Fleets and Big Bugs. Seems the Imperium is gearing up for some big boys of their own. Imperial Knights are coming to play.
