Goatboy’s Warhammer 40K: Grey Knight ‘Brick of Righteousness’

Goatboy here with a Grey Knight list I’m sure is going to show up at events before long. Meet the ‘Brick of Righteousness’!

This Grey Knights list is a big brick of pain that is designed to limit the secondary’s and grind out a win.  This is utilizing the new Balance Datasheet and current big money winners from the update – Grey Knight Paladins.  Utilizing 2 big bricks to move up the field, purify some rituals, and fight till the end.

This list has a very simple plan to win most likely utilizing Purifying Ritual, To the Last, and Stranglehold to move up and hold objectives till the game is over.  Throw in some additions to their armor save with Armored Resilience and you get a 3 wound model with a 0+ to -1+ save to try and chew thru.  This means if they fully operational they will end up having 2+ save to Ap-3 weapons.  Take a second to swallow that rough jagged little pill as you try to dig thru this army that most likely also has a 4++ with a 6+ FNP.  Oh and they can get healed up too by their Apothecary that also has a 2+ armor save.

Without further ado here is the list to pour over.  I went with all Terminators because why not but you can go Strikes versus the regular Terminator blobs.  You can also throw out a lot of weapons if you want to try and fit something else in.

PTS – 1995 CP: 6

This is a pretty simple list and I left some Warlord traits and other things off of it as you can decide what you need.  Heck even the Brotherhood is up to you as it doesn’t matter too much for the Paladins.  You could go towards the CP regen option or the ability to swap Psychics as needed as well depending on what you feel like.  But this army is too bricks that are moving up, throwing out bullets, and hopefully being a pain in the rear to remove.  It does really only kill in the assault phase – but that is ok as your dream is to hold those points.  I do think you could go one big Battalion with using Strike squads vs the Terminators but that is to make it a better and stronger army.  This was a test to go all Terminators – which this army is.

For the Emperor!
