New ‘Andor’ Trailer – This Is What a Reckoning Looks Like

The new Andor trailer dropped at Star Wars celebration. The Rebellion is gathering, the fight against the Empire begins. 

The show was announced in November 2018. It’s had a few set backs due to lock downs and scheduling, but it’s making its way to the small screen laster this summer. And the first Andor‘ trailer looks really promising. If you have been wanting more Rebellion history, this series is definitely one you need to check out.

Star Wars Celebration is upon us, which means announcements and new trailers. Here’s the new look at the series…

 

It looks great, but generally everything Lucasfilm does looks great. The worry (especially after The Book of Boba Fett) is the story and direction. This is a grand scale story about ordinary people’s (what becomes the Rebellion) fight against a fascist regime that’s aiming to take over the galaxy. It can’t have bad pacing or flat acting. Let’s hope we get more than Rogue One‘s moody spy in this show. Let’s hope we get its story telling.

Andor Cast & Details

Diego Luna returns as Cassian Andor and is joined by cast members Genevieve O’Reilly, Stellan Skarsgård, Adria Arjona, Denise Gough and Kyle Soller. Tony Gilroy is on as showrunner and its episodes being directed by some talented folks. As with Mando before it, a second season has been greenlit before the release of the first.

The series will explore a new perspective from the Star Wars galaxy. Focusing on Cassian Andor’s journey to discover the difference he can make. The series brings forward the tale of the burgeoning rebellion against the Empire and how people and planets became involved. It’s an era filled with danger, deception and intrigue. Cassian will embark on the path that is destined to turn him into a rebel hero.

Andor arrives on Disney+ August 31st.
