Let’s start with the arch, the myth, the legend. Here it is, Baldur’s Gate. And of course Baldur’s Gate kicks off a wave of gate-based gameplay. It’s a legendary land, but if you have more gates, you can do all sorts of fixing.

Then there’s Tasha, the Witch Queen, looking stunning. She should be, she’s rendered by none other than Brom. She also lets you cast your opponent’s spells.

Would you like to add the actual Monster Manual to your hand? Now non-creatures can have adventures too. And the best adventure is reading. Because it lets you play creatures for one and a green.

Here’s Jon Irenicus, Shattered One, voiced by David Warner. Confirming the leaks we saw earlier too.

Here we see Elminster, who is back and ready to solve all of Faerun’s problems in an afternoon.

How about Myrkul, Lord of Bones? This god of death was once slain by a mortal mage named Midnight. Myrkul’s controller must have had more than half their starting life total.

Even Volo gets in on the action here. If you want a look at some of the legendary creatures. Volo gives you a new colorless artifact token that will help you get even more card advantage. If you can keep it around.

Here’s a look at one of the new Commanders. Faceless One lets you decide what color you’re going to play today.

Then there are the other Commanders, Captain N’ghahthrod, Faldorn, Dread Wolf Herald, Firkraag, Cunning Instigator and Baldur’s Gate boss fight, and finally Nalia de’Arnise.

Would you like a Nautiloid instead? Get a head start on Spelljammer.

And let’s cap things off with a look at the Battle Angels of Tyr.

Of course, all this is just the tip of the iceberg. Keep an eye out for more, later.

Happy Adventuring
