Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur’s Gate has its share of dungeons, but today we’re looking at all its dragons.

The game isn’t called Dungeons &, after all. Today we’re looking at some of the dragons spoiled in the upcoming Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur’s Gate. These dragons are a calamity indeed. Each and every one of them is a force to be reckoned with.

Whether you’re basking in chromatic power, or awed by their metallic majesty, these dragons will go quite nicely in your deck. Let’s take a look!

Dragons of Battle For Baldur’s Gate

We start with one of my favorites. The Young Red Dragon, which comes with the ability to bathe in gold. Look at how excited this dragon is. And the effect is even better. Not only is it a 3/2 flyer, but when it bathes in gold, it gets so happy it disappears, Scrooge McDuck style into the coin pile, until you cast it later.

Here we have the topaz dragon. Topaz dragons are one of the new gem type dragons introduced in Fizban’s Treasury of Dragons. And this one gives Deathtouch. And then you exile the card, because everyone’s bathed in its entropic cloud.

Here we have a more traditional dragon. The lurking Green Dragon, which hides and can’t attack unless your opponent also has a flying creature. Less exciting. But still workable.

The Oceanus Dragon, on the other hand, is an elemental force. If you’re a control player, this one is for you. Goad another player’s creature and put them out of action for a while? It’ll be flowing like the tides.

If you really wanna shake things up though, the Earthquake Dragon is where it’s at. This is the first of many cataclysmic dragons. This one comes out for a green if you have 14 dragons (although if you have 14 dragons, you probably don’t also need a 10/10).

Now we look at the elder dragons. The Ancient Copper Dragon not only hits hard, but when it hits, it mines a ton of treasure. Get that loot, then use it to power your treasure decks!

And the Ancient Silver Dragon, which is just delicious. Draw 1d20 cards, gain no maximum hand size. This card is going to be a recipe for just a ton of stuff.

All this in Battle for Baldur’s Gate
