3 Minute Read
May 3 2022

It’s almost Star Wars Day, and the sales on these galactic goodies will help you have a wizard May the Fourth.

Tomorrow is May the Fourth, or Star Wars Day. It’s no secret that lots of companies have May the Fourth deals, slashing prices on all the Star Wars stuff that can fit in your shopping cart, physical or electronic. There’s no shortage of wizard merch to take home this Star Wars day, but these are a few of our favorite future additions to our collection.

1. The Art of Rogue One

A few weeks ago I highlighted some of the concept art of Rogue One. One of the best movies in the series, it had some gorgeous art backing it up and creating a reference point for all of the settings and people that we finally saw on the big screen. If you liked my roundup of Rogue One art and found yourself wanting more, May the Fourth is a perfect opportunity to get the Art of Rogue One for yourself. I have a collection of art books and early character sketches and behind the scenes tidbits are always some of my favorite parts of these collections.

Price: $40.00 $25.99

2. The Darksaber

The Darksaber made its Star Wars debut in the animated series’, but since joining live action in The Mandalorian it has been the talk of the fandom. This kid-friendly plastic Darksaber comes armed with electronic lights and sounds. You won’t even need to earn this one in battle. But it honestly couldn’t hurt.

3. R2-D2 Tamagotchi

Remember when Tamagotchis were new? It was a simpler time. But you can relive it with this pocket sized astromech of your very own! Will R2 make droid poops for you to clean up like the classic Tamagotchis used to? You’re gonna have to find out on your own.

4. Star Wars Books

There are so many Star Wars books. Even if you’re just looking at the new canon and ignoring the Legends books (and why would you?) there’s a substantial library of galactic content to read through. May the Fourth is the perfect opportunity to stock up while the prices are at their best. I’m highlighting Lost Stars, one of my guilty pleasure favorites, but I’m sure there’s a novel or two you’ve been meaning to read.

5. Star Wars Legos

There are some awesome Lego Star Wars sets, and all of them are always too darn expensive! If you’re looking for something to treat yourself or somebody else to for Star Wars Day and keep an eye out for Lego sales, may the Fourth is coming together with a 20% discount one some of our favorite sets.
