No need to steal Korben’s – you can build your own Fifth Element flying cab with this MOC kit. It even includes a brick built multipass!

It was just an ordinary day for cab driver Kroben Dallas. Until Leeloo‘s plunge through the roof of his taxi started the epic adventure that is The Fifth Element.

The floating, bubble cab’s design was inspired by the classic 20th-century checker cabs of the ’60s and ’70s. It was designed by comics artist Jean-Claude Mezieres. The cab has a part in one of the more memorable chase scenes in cinema.

The movie’s twenty-sixth anniversary is upon us this summer. Yes, we’re really that old. Sorry. Time to celebrate the most disco-opera bonkers sci-fi movie to come out with a cool brick-built The Fifth Element flying cab.

This is a MOC, an unofficial LEGO-style brick kit created by fans. Many are for builders that want something more complicated, from IP that LEGO doesn’t have rights for, and/or has a look that official LEGO bricks can’t achieve. This set is sold in two parts–bricks and instructions.

This sturdy model comes with a multipass-inspired display plaque and stand. It has interior details, rocket jets on the back, and a hole in the roof from Leeloo’s fall. You can be boring and display it, or exciting and fly around a room while making zoom noises. Your choice.
