If you haven’t gotten a chance to watch the first half – do so. The second half drops on July 1st, so you still have time.

The four groups – California, Hawkins, Russia, and the Lab – were left in precarious positions. Hopper, Murray, and Joyce were in the process of escaping a Russian prison. Nancy has been trapped by the monster the gang has been calling Vecna. Will, Argyle, and Jonathan are on a road trip back to Hawkins with the military (who want Eleven) on their tail.

In her time in the sensory deprivation tank, Eleven discovers that Vecna is not a random monster created in the Upside Down. He is the first candidate from the Hawkins Lab. A powerful psychic that rivals Eleven named Henry Creel. The second half of the season will be a fight against him for their lives and the future of Hawkins.

Stranger Things 4: Volume 2 Trailers

Our first look revealed that the Russians have been exploring the Upside Dow and collecting specimens to study. It’s clear that Hopper, Murray, and Joyce are going to fight their way out of the prison – and it doesn’t look like they’re battling humans. On the other continent, the crew of young adults is trying to survive in the alternate universe.

“I know you’re frightened. You’re terribly frightened by what you’ve seen, but I’m not gonna lie to you. Your friends are not prepared for this fight. Hawkins will fall.”

Set to Max’s battle song “Running Up That Hill”, the new trailer reveals that the crew is preparing to fight on all fronts. They are not sure they’ll be able to win this time, everything is against them and their enemy is powerful and unrelenting. But they will not go quietly.

Stranger Things 4 – Volume Two drops on Netflix July 1st.
