Angron is coming soon for the World Eaters. Guilliman is severely outnumbered now. Will Primarch help arrive before we see Fulgrim?

Alright folks, this is a long term wager we’re tossing out there and it’s quite simple: Who will we see first a Daemon Primarch Fulgrim or another lost Loyalist Primarch returned to the game? Before you decide which horse to back in this race let’s share some more information as this is going to be one we’re going to have to watch for a while.

Angron – Coming Soon

What’s The Score?

We’re about to have 3 Daemon Prince Primarchs in Warhammer 40,000 vs 1 Loyalist Primarch with Roboute Guilliman. That’s quite the disparity! We all know the destructive power of the Daemon Primarchs, too. And soon we’ll have a third to contend with along with a whole revamp of the World Eaters army.

With each Daemon Primarch we’ve seen their respective Legion get a rework as well. Now, from a design and production perspective creating a revamped army with a Daemon Primarch is quite the undertaking. That’s why it’s taken this long to get the ones we’ve gotten. The assumption is that we’ll eventually see a Fulgrim Daemon Prince Primarch model which also means an Emperor’s Children revamp eventually, too.

Why Fulgrim and not say….Logar? Well, for one he had a model in Epic. Secondly, he’d be a Slaanesh Daemon Prince and would round out the 4 chaos gods in terms of armies. And thirdly, the Emperor’s Children have those iconic Noise Marines and that’s a line GW could expand on with a whole bunch of Slaanesh Noise-based weapons and units.

Again, this revamp would take time but it would round out chaos quite nicely. It would also stack (relatively) equal when looking at the various Space Marine armies with codexes out there:

  • Space Marines (Ultramarines)
  • Blood Angels
  • Dark Angels
  • Space Wolves

Not counting all of the supplemental codexes out there (and there are a LOT) for the Space Marines, too.

It’s an older code but it checks out.

And speaking of the Space Marines the news of Angron’s imminent arrival has left Guilliman far out gunned. To balance the scales, don’t you think it’s time we saw another Space Marine Primarch return?

Where are all the Loyalist Primarchs and which would it be? That’s not really the point. The main point here is that Guilliman needs some back-up. And if Games Workshop can bring him back to the tabletop there’s no reason they couldn’t create a lore reason to bring back the another Loyalist Primarch or two (or more).

Place Your Bets

So back to the main question: Who do you think we’ll see first — Daemon Prince Primarch Fulgrim or any of the Loyalist Primarchs returned to help the Imperium? Personally, I know which option I’d like to see happen but I also have a feeling one of these is more likely to happen first. No spoilers from me as those two things could be the same! In either case this isn’t about my guess. It’s about yours! So drop us a line in the comments as to which option you think we’ll see first.
