WotC wants your feedback on their latest Unearthed Arcana: Wonders of the Multiverse in a new survey. Help shape the future of D&D.

In the midst of all the new Spelljammer previews, WotC doesn’t want to lose sight of its multiversal ambitions. Just a few weeks back WotC released the Wonders of the Multiverse Unearthed Arcana; now they want your feedback via a survey.

In this new Wonders of the Multiverse survey, you’ll have the opportunity to help shape the future of D&D. Or at least some very specific parts of it.

Wonders of the Multiverse Survey

In this latest Unearthed Arcana we got to meet the Glitchlings. These are winged, human-like creatures made from magic and machinery. They hail from Mechanus, but can be found everywhere. Glitchlings are as close to Modrons as you can get without WotC saying “now you’re a playable Modron and we’re doing the Great Modron March.” If they are, great.

If you need a refresher, Glitchlings are another batch of Construct PC races. Only they have slightly better than average base AC with a 14 + Dex modifier, putting them one up on Warforged and Autognomes, as well as Barbarians and Monks.

On top of that, they have the ability to treat a roll of 9 or lower on a d20 as though they’d rolled a 10 a few times per day, and like Autognomes, can benefit from a limited selection of healing spells.

But we also got to test a new Cleric Subclass the Fate Domain. And while the list of bonus spells they get access to is pretty thematic, the subclass loses a little power in the later levels. Features like Insightful Striking pale in comparison to other subclasses 6th level abilities.

A Feat of Feedback

The other big thing in Wonders of the Multiverse, and perhaps the real focus of the survey, is on the new Feats and Backgrounds that grant a specific Feat.

This seems to be a big shift in the design of D&D 5th Edition as it approaches 2024 and the “new imagining” of the core rules. So this particular survey feels like a great way to offer feedback on character feats as they’re delivered, and the possibility of feat trees in 5th (or 5.5 or 6th) Edition. You can read more about those feats here.
