Horus Heresy: The Final ‘Siege of Terra’ Story Revealed
We all knew this day would come. It’s the final Siege of Terra story revealed for the Horus Heresy book series.
Games Workshop and Black Library started a journey through the events of the Horus Heresy many years (and books) ago. As fans of the Warhammer 40,000 universe we might know how it ends but that doesn’t change the impact of this crazy trip. The Horus Heresy book series is the definitive story of how the Grimdark was born from a tragic civil war of Primarch vs Primarch, brother vs brother, and Father vs sons.
Today, we get the reveal of the final story in the epic that is the Siege of Terra. And it’s going to be a big one.
“All of this – every tale, no matter how small – has led to this finale: Siege of Terra: The End and the Death: Volume 1. Yes, Volume 1. You’ll just have to wait and see what this means for the final story!”
It’s been one heck of a trip and it’s all lead up to this final story. And yeah, this is just the first volume. I think such a massive capstone on such a sprawling story does deserve a little room to breathe — so yeah, not surprising that there will be volumes. It’s also coming from Dan Abnett and it’s great to have him back to pen the final work. But make no mistake, everything that’s come to this point has been a massive team effort. I’m all the many Black Library authors that worked on this series are excited to see how it all ends.
Even if you just dabbled it in the Horus Heresy books this one is going to be worth checking out. You might have fallen off the bandwagon a few books in or maybe a dozen books back — either way, the Siege of Terra aka the END is in sight.
