MTG: Dominaria United Spoilers – Mono White Is Going To Be Wild
Dominaria United is coming. And that means more spoilers, this time in wubrg order. Here’s the Dominarians powered by the plains.
Spoilers Ahoy for Dominaria United. Today we’re taking a look at every white card revealed in the set so get ready. See if you can spot what’s going to make mono white unstoppable this time.
But, it’s not all doom and quickly ramping gloom. There are some truly sweet cards to showcase. Let’s take a look.
First up, a pretty spicy batch of cards. The Anointed Peacekeeper can buy you some tempo advantage, the Archangel of Wrath deals solid burn if you’re able to have the mana for it. Even if you don’t, a 3/4 flying lifelink is always fun.
But what really seems exciting are the cards with Enlist. This is going to spice up aggressive decks, making a big creature bigger and helping smaller creature punch above their weight. It’s like Banding but better. And fitting, considering Dominaria is home to the Benalish peoples.
But! We know that Dominaria United is all about Phyrexian power plays, and we get our first taste of that with the Benalish Sleeper, one of many Phyrexian sleeper agents and infiltrators already deployed. And it will kill everyone’s creatures when it comes out, so, careful.
There are actually quite a few cards with kickers in this set. Which is fitting, it’s not called Dominaria One Color. So expect your favorite weird magic color combo name to get some renewed vigor. Whether that’s Jeskai control, or just Junding ’em out, you’ll find it here.
There also a surprising number of fliers. The skies above Dominaria will be full of battle. And Phyrexians.
Sagas are here, and we get a look at the other mechanic, Domain, which triggers based on the number of basic land types you find on lands you control.
Then we have the epic moment of Urza Assembles the Titans, which is all about Planeswalkers.
And we close out with a couple solid white creatures.
