Warhammer+ is approaching Year Two and that means the second pair of models is going to be rolled out alongside everything else!

Games Workshop’s experiment into a subscription/streaming service is still going strong with Warhammer+. More animation, live shows, Warhammer Vault content, and more miniatures are on the way. Year Two kicks off on the 25th of August which is quickly approaching.

That’s all great news — but what about those new miniatures for being a Subscriber for a year? Well, GW is teasing those as well:

“In a change to last year’s offer, annual subscribers will get this year’s free miniature just one month after taking out a subscription – great news if you want your hands on it quickly!

Monthly subscribers will still need to wait until they’ve been subscribed for a year. Check back next week to find out exactly what this year’s miniatures look like – though we reckon you can make a pretty solid guess based on these imposing silhouettes…”

From the video you can get a little bit more detail. But clearly the AoS model is a Chaos Sorcerer of some sort and the 40k model is a massive Terminator-type. Probably. Here’s a few shots of the models from the video:

Warhammer: Age of Sigmar Year Two Model

It’s a classic look. The Chaos symbol is pretty obvious as well as the horns. This one is actually a Rumor Engine all the way back from March of 2020!

It’s silhouette has been teased at least once before. And now we know when to expect this miniature…but we still don’t know exactly what it will look like. Although, it does remind of the Chaos Warrior Warband from Underworlds – Khagra’s Ravagers:

The Sorcerer in particular. Probably just the combination of the Horns and Staff with the Chaos Spikes. It’s kind of a Chaos thing, right?

Warhammer: 40,000 Year Two Model

Here we get a pretty good look at this Terminator-esque figure. We can see a bald head in the first image and that does help us with the scale of this miniature. We also get a look at the back and it’s got the same plating you’d see on the back of a Terminator. Also, that’s gotta be a chainfist, right? It’s also a bit hard to tell due to the filters, but that model does look like it’s got some red-tinted armor. And how about those massive spikes on top? Looking cool!

If you are an annual subscriber you can score one (or both if you pay extra) of these miniatures just 1 month after Year Two kicks off. If you’re a monthly sub, you’ll have to wait a full year. That’s just a nice bonus on top of all the other stuff you’ll get over the course of the year. If you skipped last year because you were worried about a lack of content, well, now you’ve got a whole year’s worth to catch-up on! Seems like a good time to sub if you haven’t already.

What do you think of the new miniatures teased? What do you hope they end up being?
