With only a few weeks until the new film’s premiere on Hulu, the Cenobites are here with such pleasure and pain in Hellraiser trailer.

Clive Barker’s leather-clad horror icon Pinhead is back in a new iteration of the classic horror franchise. And she’s bringing along a whole crew of Cenobites and new playthings to our screens once again. Yesterday we got the much-anticipated trailer for the upcoming film, and it looks every bit as delicious and torturous as I was hoping it would.

Everything We Saw in the Hellraiser Trailer

The trailer opens with Goran Visnjic, who appears to be some kind of rich and fancy guy. He also seems to be our bad guy, and tricks an unfortunate young man into solving the Lament Configuration. Once the puzzle box has his blood, the Cenobites are coming for him.

The trailer gives us a blurry look at a figure whose skin is grotesquely stretched out. According to a previous peek in Entertainment Weekly, we know this will be the film-original Cenobite called The Masque. We also get a look at the famously-terrifying Chatterer.

“But your profile said that you wanted a guy with a nice smile!”

We also get to hear Jamie Clayton deliver lines as Pinhead, plus another fuller look at the character. The makeup looks chilling and she certainly carries the terrifying energy required for the role.

It’s likely that the young man whose blood awakens the puzzle box is Riley’s brother – either way, the scene doesn’t bode well for him.

Hellraiser New Poster

Oh, and we got this beautiful new poster to drool over.

Rebooting the Cenobites

Alongside Clayton, the film will feature Odessa A’zion as the film’s protagonist, Riley. According to the official film synopsis:

“A young woman must confront the sadistic, supernatural forces behind an enigmatic puzzle box responsible for her brother’s disappearance.”

The film’s cast will also include Brandon Flynn, Drew Starkey, and Aoife Hinds. The movie will premiere on Hulu on October 7th.
