In Warhammer 40K: Universes Beyond, red is the color of Chaos (and a few tyranids), especially Slaanesh and Khorne.

We’re back with more spoilers for Universes Beyond: Warhammer 40K. This time we’re taking a look at the red cards, which are just absolutely full of heresy. Red is the color of Chaos, and a few ‘nids, but mostly it’s Khorne, Slaanesh, and of course, a lot of Abaddon’s stuff.

From iconic moments to heresies in the grim darkness of the 41st millennium, here are the Warhammer 40K red spoilers.

Warhammer 40K Red Spoilers

Right out of the gate our first Chaos card is an Aspiring Champion, which feels about right. The Aspiring Champion can basically become a Demon of some kind, as long as it can deal combat damage once. This can be a good way to bring demons like a Bloodthirster online sooner than you’d think.

And the Bloodthirster is every bit as heavy a hitter as you’d expect. What I really like is that the way Bloodthirsters play gets you the most when you’re playing in a big multiplayer game. It hits every opponent until there are none left to hit or it dies. Also, the Dark Apostle and Chaos Terminator Lords provide some good support.

We also get a look at some of the other big demons here. The Herald of Slaanesh makes it easier to bring out the swift, sensuous side of your deck. While the Keeper of Secrets makes playing from your graveyard even better.

There are some serious combos presented in this game. It’s going to make Commander extremely fun. Look at Kharn the Betrayer, who will absolutely betray you to join an opponent’s side, but you get cards out of the deal. The Knight Rampager proves Knights are busted, even in Magic form.

Chaos has powerful sorceries and spells as you might expect. And with a bunch of Chaos-themed reprints, there’s a lot to love.  Like Blasphemous Act! Who doesn’t love a good blasphemy?

Finally, we round things out with the rest of the 40K reprints. Reverberate is particularly exciting, but they’re all good. There’s a lot of gas for red here.

Get ready, Warhammer 40K comes to Magic on October 7th!
