I’ve been intently watching for the news that the new Blood & Plunder: Blackbeard vs Maynard going up for pre-order. That day arrived this week!
If you missed the Kickstarter Campaign, you can now order a set from Firelock Games. You are looking at $145 for this starter set. Not bad at all. It is much larger in appearance than I expected. For those wondering what is in there, here is a video of the folks at Firelock Games unboxing their first copy.

More than Just Blackbeard vs Maynard
On top of this highly anticipated 2 Player Starter Set for Blood & Plunder, a number of new products related to the Kickstarter are also now available. All of these items are in the pre-orders section of Firelock Games. They are mixed up with other pre-order products by the company, but they are all there. If you want a more organized list so you don’t have to filter through the other products, I have that in this post on my personal site.

The Raise the Black Kickstarter by Firelock Games brought into the world a whole lot of new and exciting Blood & Plunder products. Plastic miniatures, an affordable 2-player starter box (with ships) and a new expansion are all highlights for me. These will ship out first to those who Kickstarted the game and then to those who pre-order it. At this time, it looks like the pre-orders will go out in December. Hopefully that timeline remains correct.
