Games Workshop has had a ton of Orks over the years and even more from the lore. Here are 5 Ork Characters we wish had rules.

When you think about all the armies in 40k there are quite a few named characters that might pop to mind. For me when I think of Orks it’s Ghazghkull Thraka! Which makes total sense. But there have been a bunch of Orks from the past and in the lore that should also get their turn in the rules department. Here are 5 we want to see get official rules for.

Orkimedes

Orkimedes has been a figure in the background of the Orks for a long time. He’s a genius Ork Mek Boy that helped Ghaz launch his tellyporta assault on Armageddon. We know he’s got some other crazy inventions under his orky sleeves but he’s never had rules! GW needs to fix that.

Overfiend of Octarius

The Overfiend of Octarious is actually more than one Ork. It’s a title of the Ork who rules over the Ork Empire of Octarius. If that name sounds familiar it’s because we just had a whole book about that war zone. Anyhow, I always loved the Octarius War as a theme — it’s Orks vs Tyranids! I always felt it was a shame we never got rules of a full on Overfiend of Octarius Ork Warlord. And at this point it might be a little too late. But we can dream, can’t we?!

Tuska, The Daemon-Killa

If you don’t know the legend of Tuska then let the Lexicanum summarize it for you:

Tuska, the “Daemon-Killa”, is an Ork Warboss who, aided by many weirdboyz, managed to bypass the defenses around Cadia and led his Waaagh! in an invasion of the Eye of Terror, in search of Daemons to fight.”

Yep. This madlad took his fleet and crashed it into the Eye of Terror because he just wanted to fight Daemons. While in the Warp he throws down on a daemon world and has a right-good bit of slaughtering. However, he and his orks, are eventually overwhelmed and killed. But, Khorne smiles at this destruction and he revives this WAAAGH!!! to fight again. And again. And again…

Snagrod, The Arch-Arsonist

Snagrod had his own unit of Burna Boyz but we never really got an official model or rules for him as a character. This is the Ork that launched the attack on Rynn’s World the home of the Crimson Fists. And if we ever get a Primaris’d Pedro Kantor, we need a Snagrod Warboss mini for him to duel with!

Nazdreg Ug Urdgrub

Nazdreg Ug Urdgrub is an Ork Warlord of the Bad Moons Clan. He’s a contemporary of Ghaz and he’s worth knowing about. He’s participated in a bunch of major battles like the Third War for Armageddon, the Fall of Medusa V, and even battled with the Farsight Enclaves. This Ork gets around. He’s even had rules/a miniature in the past. However, it’s been a long time since we’ve seen this ork get a proper release. Maybe one day Nazdreg will return in all his Bad Moon Yellow glory packing a whole lot of dakka!
