Kill Team: Shadowvaults is coming soon and with it we’re getting two new Kill Teams! Check out the Kasrkin Kill Team and their Necron foes!

We got our first looks at these miniatures during the Online Preview for Warhammer Day. Now, we’re getting a better look at all the new plastic models for the Kasrkin and Necron models in Shadowvaults.

Kasrkin Kill Team

“The Kasrkin are the elite of the elite – the finest troops from the Cadian Astra Militarum forces. Their legacy of excellence continues far beyond Cadia and even extends into the labyrinth that makes up the innards of the Gallowdark.”

This Elite unit is coming in all plastic with a ton of options for you to use as you build them.

What’s so great about this new plastic kit is that it replaces the old metal/finecast versions and updates all the miniatures. They have fancy new Hot-shot Lasguns as well as a wide array of Special Weapons. This unit really can be kitted out for all your Kill Team needs.

You can see from the sprues above all the different bits you’re going to get with this Kill Team. And you can also bet you’re going to see more of this Kill Team once the Astra Militarum Codex comes out later as well!

In case you were wondering, yes, this Kill Team is based on the current Immortals/Deathmarks kit and it’s basically an upgrade sprue. This sprue adds the ability to build three different models with the Apprentek, a Plasmacyte Reanimator, and a Plasmacyte Accelerator.

More Awesome Terrain

In more exciting Terrain news, the Shadowvaults box is also including more of that Gallowdark terrain. This is great news and with those two kits combined, you’ll have quite the start for your very own boarding action games when Arks of Omens comes out.

I know at least one gamer who’s super pumped about those new Astra Militarum models. I can’t wait to see what else GW has in store for them, too!
