Clone Force 99 and Omega are back for new missions. The Bad Batch Season 2 first trailer proves that peace was never an option.

The Bad Batch aka Clone Force 99, is a motley crew of clones that initially appeared in The Clone Wars. Hunter, Wrecker, Tech, Crosshair, and cybercaner Echo can claim a 100% success rate and have special skills that aren’t seen in any other clone troopers. They use their unique talents, specialized physiology, and teamwork to accomplish extraordinary feats. The show’s first season follows them as they find their way in a rapidly changing galaxy in the immediate aftermath of the Clone War. They take on daring mercenary missions as they struggle to stay afloat and find new purpose.

Bad Batch Season 2 First Trailer

The Bad Batch and Omega have to navigate a galaxy under the rule of Emperor Palpatine. They have to contend with their choices in a time when choice is removed in favor of order and control. Oh, there are giant crabs.

 

Bad Batch Season 2 Details

The sixteen-episode second season will air on Disney+ from January 4 to April 12. If you need to catch up, the first season of The Bad Batch is available on Disney+ now (check out our recaps here).

This season’s voice cast includes Dee Bradley Baker as the Bad Batch and Michelle Ang as Omega. Rhea Perlman returns to guest star as Cid. Noshir Dalal returns to guest star as Vice Admiral Rampart, and Wanda Sykes makes her guest-starring debut in the series as Phee Genoa. The Bad Batch is executive produced by Dave Filoni. Brad Rau also serves as supervising director, with Corbett as head writer and Matt Michnovetz as story editor.

When the new season opens, months have passed since the events on Kamino, and the Bad Batch continue their journey navigating the Empire after the fall of the Republic. They will cross paths with friends and foes, both new and familiar, as they take on a variety of thrilling mercenary missions that will take them to unexpected and dangerous new places.

 Bad Batch Season 2 starts streaming on Disney+ on January 4.
