Someone is getting a fancy carved club based on the latest Rumor Engine from Games Workshop.

It’s another Tuesday and we hope you’re doing well because it’s time to put on your theory hats and get to work. Although this new Rumor Engine seems like a pretty easy case to solve. Check it out for yourselves and we’ll see you on the other side.

Alright! So what do we have here? Well, this one screams new Seraphon to me. We’ve got that classic space lizard/aztec thing theme going on with the metal casing around a presumably rock orb in the middle. In fact, we’ve already seen then first wave of new Seraphon minis and this could fit right in.

I suppose the real question is who’s going to be wielding this fancy club? I have a feeling it could be for a unit of Kroxigors

It sure looks like one of the weapons the current models are already wielding, doesn’t it? On top of that, we’ve already seen GW do some amazing new Lizardmen/Kroxigor models for Blood Bowl.

I can’t wait to see what they do for an updated unit of these heavy hitters for Age of Sigmar!

More Meta Narrative Teases

This week’s text is also a nod to beast and big game hunters, too. Here’s the “sponsor” from this week:

“Yeah, this isn’t working – we had the Indigan Xeno-Safari Tourist Board lined up as a sponsor for today, and they’ve totally ghosted us. All we’ve received is an astropathic communication filled with garbled screaming and visions of broken cages. Clearly a prank call.”

Indiga is an Imperial world known for its regiment the Indigan Praefects. According to the Lexicanum:

“On the zoo world of Indiga, the Praefects have the unpleasant task of protecting the planet’s natives from the the dangerous animal life that prowls the surface. The giant predators had once been the pride and joy of the pompous governorConstantine Principa Argoy, who spent the planet’s copious mineral wealth on the purchase of breeding pairs of every dangerous creature he could acquire from planets across the Segmentum. Unfortunately, after a catastrophic earthquake shattered the governor’s zoos, the giant animals escaped into the wilds to breed and hybridise with each other.”

If you’ve got your copy of the 8th edition Codex: Astra Militarum you can check the reference yourself. I think they might of had a Jurassic Park situation on the planet…

Anyhow, what do you make of this week’s Rumor Engine? Is it Serphon or something else?
