Warhammer: Event-Exclusive Miniatures For 2023
Games Workshop has revealed two new miniatures as Warhammer Event Exclusives for 2023. Time to plan your trips now.
If you’ve been to an event where Game Workshop has had a booth then you know they come fully stocked. That includes (typically) two Event-Exclusive miniatures. And for 2023, that’s no different. This year’s models have been revealed and it’s one for 40 and A0S.
“These likely lads will only be available at official Warhammer events and at selected partner events – and only during 2023. If you miss out this year, you won’t be able to get them at all! “
Warhammer 40,000 – The Commissar’s Duty
Here we have an interesting vignette of a model. The Commissar is posed to deliver the Emperor’s Justice (or perhaps mercy?) but we don’t know which. And is he taking aim at an enemy of the Imperium or Guardsman that needs to be made an example of. What’s really interesting to me is the sword planted in the ground so that he can read from his book — clearly an Imperial text. However, I am curious about how he’s holding it as the book mark appears to be upside down? “No, no Commissar, I’m not questioning the wisdom of the Imperium’s book publishing!? I swear!!!”
Warhammer: Age of Sigmar – Tolgar Split-Eye
Have I mentioned how Chaos always gets the best exclusive models? Because they totally do. This year is no different! What’s also really neat about this Darkoath character model is that he’s got an alternate head option if you just want to run him as a nameless Darkoath Chieftain. Personally, I think his alternate head looks like Tolgar in about 20 years as his hair migrated from his scalp to his chin.
It’s a pretty cool looking model with quite the action pose. I would not complain if I snagged one at an event in 2023!

After that you’ll have to attend other events with Games Workshop’s booths/sponsors. Now the question is if you only had to pick up one of them which would you choose?
