On Phyrexia, even the rats are mechanical horrors. Actually, especially the rats. Come take a look at more All Will Be One spoilers.

Let’s kick the new year off with a new batch of Phyrexia All Will Be One spoilers. And to start with, we’re looking at why Rats are going to be big. Especially in Commander decks built for the set.

Over the last week a few spoilers cropped up, and the most exciting one of all is a look at a brand new Karumonix the Rat King.

He makes all the rules, basically. And Karumonix is actually a rat-king, in all his Phyrexian glory, what with multiple torsos and a single tail and several sharp metal appendages.

Karumonix also makes every rat you have turn Toxic with his Phyrexian corruption. Which means the more rats you have, the faster you poison counter your way to victory. But then he makes it even easier to bring rats out into the fray with his revelation enter the battlefield effect. Are the rats becoming Phyrexians or are the Phyrexians becoming rats?

But, we also get a good look at the All Will Be One buy a box promo, Green Sun’s Twilight. Found in a Secret Lair set, apparently, Green Sun’s Twilight lets you serve up some of your best cards (if you’re lucky) right onto the battlefield. Or at the very least, right into your hand.

And finally, Kaito, Dancing Shadow. As far as Planeswalkers go, he’s situated pretty well. There’s no big, dramatic game ending ultimate ability. But Kaito can spit out Drones or grant ninjutsu-ish abilities to your creatures, or just help you draw into what you need. All great options to have.

Will he be Compleated? Maybe.

We’ll have to find out in Phyrexia, All Will Be One
