The T’au are being teased with Arks of Omen but with a new face that looks eerily similar to an existing character.

We’ve got a new Arks of Omen card teaser and this one is hinting at T’au and so much more. We need to break this one down but first you need to watch it!

Before we get into the image let’s run that creepy dialog back really quick.

Arks of Omen Card XIV – De Bellicosa Novitius

XIV – The Young Warrior

It may scourge the red tide

It may drown beneath its waves

Hmm…definitely a call back to last week’s card. In fact, that sword is looking mighty familiar…

That’s last weeks card. Remember that hilt.

Sure looks like that same sword. Could it be the Dawnblade again? Or something new? And if you thought this was a T’au tease check this out:

It’s clearly a horse (or something really close) and it’s got a super apparent T’au symbol in the armor and also in the reins.  So this “Young Warrior” could be representing the T’au or a specific T’au warrior *cough*Farsight*cough. Maybe it’s a nod to that other teaser we keep bringing up.

The choice to call this card “The Young Warrior” is also dripping with allusions to the T’au. They are considered a young race. They also have relatively short lifespans compared to humans (or Aeldari for that matter). Commander Farsight is actually a long lived T’au warrior (for reasons) and is still relatively young compared to say…a Space Marine.

That said, there’s one I still want to point out. That artwork sure is evocative of another major character:

Yeah. Maybe it’s just the dark hair but this Young Warrior sure reminds me of the Emperor of Mankind. Especially some of the early artwork

Now, this could also be a factor of “the deck is from the Imperial perspective, so of course it’s the Emperor.” However, that profile is just really, really similar. It’s like a younger version of the Emperor or something.

Are we about to see the Emperor reborn as…a T’au? That can’t happen, right? Maybe he’s going to possess a T’au Warrior. That’s pretty far-fetched and the card is probably just all symbolism. I think it’s still an allusion to Farsight and with the 4th book in the Arks of Omen series being Xenos…it’s gotta be T’au, right?
