Warhammer World Championships Qualifiers Announced

There’s 310 events where you can play at to qualify for the World Championships of Warhammer. And more to come…

Games Workshop has unveiled the events that are currently designated as qualifiers for the Warhammer World Championships that will take place in Atlanta, Georgia later this year. The first wave of events has been released and of course there the US Open series as well as more events on the way.

“The World Championships of Warhammer are coming. This is already shaping up to be an incredible finale featuring competitors from three dozen countries and over 300 qualifier events – and you can be one of them!

Events from Austria to Australia are already signed up, pitting Warhammer players from across the globe against each other to prove themselves the undisputed champions of their favourite games. 

More than 36 countries will be represented – and from five continents – making the inaugural year a truly global event! And if you’re a Warhammer fan Stateside, don’t forget you can aim to qualify for a place by taking part in the US Open, tickets for which go on sale TODAY. “

US Open Events

We already covered these event locations and details. The US Open tickets for all four of these events are on sale starting today.

“Two players each from the Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar events at the Tacoma and Tampa Opens will earn places at the World Championships of Warhammer, alongside the winners of the Kill Team and Warhammer: Underworlds events. And from Kansas City, all five Best Generals and Best Overalls from the Warhammer 40,000 team event will join them, as well as the four victors in the Warhammer Age of Sigmar team event.

Winners of the Warhammer Age of Sigmar and Warhammer 40,000 events at the Kansas City Open will even earn their place at the World Championships of Warhammer. “

Warhammer World Championship Qualifier Events

The first wave of these events have been posted by the Warhammer Community. We can’t list them all here but you can find them by Country. Here’s the United States list as an example:

Keep in mind that these aren’t the only events — just the first wave. Additionally, if you’re an event organizer, you can still apply for your event to be considered.
