The Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3
The movie’s story is still under wraps, but we know that this will close the trilogy that Gunn is doing for Marvel Studios. Rocket looks to be going back to his roots and confronting The High Evolutionary, the man that created him. And then there’s the unfinished business with Ayesha and The Sovereign. There’s a lot going on in this final chapter.
James Gunn is back in the director’s chair and he wrote the script based on the comics from Dan Abnett. The cast sees the return of Chris Pratt as Star-Lord, Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer, Vin Diesel as Groot, Karen Gillan as Nebula, and Pom Klementieff as Mantis. Also joining the film is Maria Balakova as Cosmo the Space Dog, Elizabeth Debicki as Ayesha, Will Poulter as Adam Warlock, and Chukwudi Iwuji as The High Evolutionary.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will hit theaters on May 5, 2023.
