It looks like GW is getting ready for something big March 23rd.

Games Workshop has a lot of websites to maintain. From the company store , to all the sub-brands like Forge World, and Black Library – there’s plenty for their webstaff to take care off. But Each of their major game systems including 40K, and Age of Sigmar has its standalone sites.

These are aimed squarely at new customers who are just coming into the system, and offer faction overviews, and free core rules. These websites are usually ignored by the existing customer base who clamors for the latest products, and FAQs from GW’s  other sites.  These game-centered sites tend to be fairly static. They get updates only around major rules refreshes, and new edition launches.

And the main Warhammer 40,000 site, just put up a new frontpage.

Taking a Closer Look

Note the date of launch – April 23rd (the day after the Adepticon Reveal Seminar). Then note the use of the Terminator/Tyranid imagery GW has been stripteasing the community with for the past week or so. This all points to some type of major reveal, or update to Warhammer 40,000, that will be rolled out to the public in two days.

Maybe it’s 10th Edition? Maybe it’s something related to Space Hulk, or Tyranids, or Terminators.  Whatever it is…

Get ready!
