Warhammer 40K: Another Teaser As ‘The Shadow Clears’
Games Workshop has a new teaser that sure to be an eye-full. We’ve got Terminators and Tyranids going at it once again.
Last week we had the “Terminator vs Tyranid” teaser pop-up. This week we’re getting another one from the other angle. We’ve still got Tyranids. And we’ve still got Terminators. But we’ve got a bit more info from Games Workshop to work with…
“That great psychic squall blocking interstellar communication has lifted for but a moment. Images have been broadcast from the surface of an embattled world – spearing through a great shadow in the warp.”

Alright, we speculated that this could be a big announcement and we kind of know it’s going to be revealed at Adepticon. That’s all well and good. But we also theorized last week that this could be a Space Hulk refresh, too. That kind of makes sense as Tyranids and Terminators fighting in Space Hulks is pretty iconic.
And Games Workshop is even throwing out some more stuff on twitter to support that theory:

I mean the text reads “Give this brutal hulk some space to deal with the xenos infestation!” Emphasis added. But c’mon. That’s quite the red herring if it’s not related to Space Hulk. Also, I do want to take a moment to highlight the colors on the Terminator:
The armor is blue. And the helmet is white. That sure seems like it’s an Ultramarine Terminator to me.

It’s not like we haven’t had Tyranids vs Ultramarines before, either. One other thing to note is that the Tyranid in the refection isn’t a Genestealer either. It looks like a Termagant. The head ridges are a giveaway.
So once again we’re wondering if this is a teaser for a new Space Hulk or if GW is teasing us with something even bigger. Could this be a Warhammer 40,000 10th edition boxed set teaser? Or just another Battle Box combo teaser. We’ll have to wait until later this week to find out.
