Warhammer 40K: Kill Team – New Balance Dataslate Now Available

Kill Team has a new Balance Dataslate available to download for free. Tzeentch has been busy because there’s changes ahead!

Games Workshop has updated Kill Team with balance changes looking to bring the lower performing teams up while knocking down some of the more “gatekeeping” factions down a peg.

“As Kill Team enters the last chapter of the Gallowdark saga with the newly revealed boxed set Kill Team: Gallowfall, most factions seem to be in a fairly good spot. This dataslate brings specific changes to the Elucidian Starstriders, Gellerpox Infected, and the Imperial Navy Breachers to try and reduce their overall power. “

Those factions weren’t the only ones getting a tweak either. The Chaos Space Marines and the Space Marine Intercession Squad also got hit with some nerfs to their effectiveness as well. Apparently, GW doesn’t want these two popular armies to act as gatekeepers to some of the lower performing armies which makes sense. You’d want them to be good options because but not stomp the floor with everyone.

And speaking of getting stomped to the floor the Necron Hierotek Circle got a substantial buff to their effectiveness. Additionally, the Phobos Strike Team, Cadian Kasrkin and Ork Kommandos all got improvements as well.
