Necromunda has grown in scope and it’s the perfect time for the Orks to come to play in the Ash Wastes.

If you know what Gorkamorka is then you already know what we’re driving at with this one. If you’ve never heard of Gorkamorka then let me enlighten you really quick. Gorkamorka was basically Necromunda, but with Orks. And instead of being fought in Underhive, it was fought on the deserted plains of Tomb World. Oh, and the Orks used vehicles…starting to sound familiar?

And yes, the Orks were trying to fight for resources to rebuild a ship to rejoin their Waaagh! That’s not the point here…

The Ash Wastes of Necromunda introduced us to the harsh life outside the “safety” of the Hives. It also added a bunch of crazy vehicles to the game world. So really all that’s missing is an Ork Warband to step up and start the party. “But there aren’t any Orks on Necromunda!” Oh really?

There’s an old story about an Ork Waaagh! that had hit Necromunda almost 10,000 years ago. The Imperial Fists, led by Dorn himself, repelled the attack. And while Orks haven’t been spotted for a very long time on the surface with all the crazy activity happening on Necromunda what are the odds that some dormant Ork Spores might get woken-up?

Hey, if Squats could have been hanging out on the surface in plain sight who knows what else could be surviving in the Ash Wastes.

Also, I know that GW made the “racing game” Speed Freeks which allowed for some fun vehicular ork-slaughter. But again, this is just more evidence that a Gorkamorka revival on Necromunda would make for a really fun addition. Besides, Orks like a good fight, right? And with the planetary rebellion brewing an even bigger battle is coming!

The Orks already have a bunch of crazy vehicles.  They already have plastic kits. Really all we need is some basic rules for an Ork Warband (which shouldn’t be too hard to create) and boom – Orks on Necromunda!

I’m not asking for a full scale Ork Waaagh! to land on the door steps of the planet. But could totally see a few Ork Gangs pop-up and cause some problems as a “rumor” out in the Ash Wastes. So c’mon GW! Drop some Orks in Necromunda and give us the Gorkamorka game we all want!

Necro-Morka! Let’s get this party started!
