Warcry: Questor Soulsworn Are An Elite Fighting Unit

3 Minute Read
May 8 2023

The Stormcast Eternals are sending in some of their best to the Gnarlwood in the upcoming Warcry: Nightmare Quest.

There have been many warbands sent into the Gnarlwood for various reasons. Some are explorers. Some are plunderers. But the Questor Soulsword are defenders and they aren’t looking to mess around on their quest. They know that the magic relics hidden in the Gnarlwood could be devastating if they fell into the wrong hands. And the Questor Soulsworn aren’t ones to fail Sigmar.

“Though they ordinarily operate as individual, wandering champions, guided only by visions and prophecies, Questor Soulsworn will come together for tasks too great for a lone itinerant. Each such warband is commanded by a Questor-Prime – a warrior of great renown, marked for leadership by a divinely-delivered lantern.

United as a band of heroes, these gold-clad juggernauts can work in terrifying unison to fell horrendous foes and swarming hordes alike – though even alone, each Errant-Questor is a capable army of one.”

Questor Soulsworn

Each member of the Questor Soulsworn is an elite combatant and has a stat-line and points cost to match. They are on par with most other Warbands top fighters so they better bring the heat when it comes to packing a punch. They do tend to support each other rather well in combat and have ways of upping their action economy to make up for their small numbers.

On a double, they can activate You Won’t Even Slow Me Down to make a bonus move or attack action. In fact, even taking out one of their members can cause you to take a counter-attack:

The dual-wielding Errant-Questor Duellists have what is effectively a “taunt” ability that forces enemies to step up and fight them so they even have some crowd control, too:

This warband also has its share of movement tricks. Handy for a group that can’t be everywhere at once. Now, this ability does require the Knight-Relictor and requires a Quad roll…but it happens more than you might think.

This Warband will first be available in Warcry: Nightmare Quest. The Questor Soulsworn are on a mission from Sigmar — you might not want to get in their way…
