Who would have thought a game about power washing would be so addictive? PowerWash Simulator has buffed its way into a crossover with Warhammer 40K.

In 2021, a game went into early access that looked like any other simulator of its kind: PowerWash Simulator. Developed by FuturLab, the game is about cleaning locations with a variety of power-washing tools and soaps. The game is very relaxing at times with a satisfying game loop and was eventually fully released back in July 2022 with online co-op. This way you and your friends can tackle the larger areas and relax together.

Warhammer 40K

Announced at the latest Skull Fest, PowerWash Simulator is getting a Warhammer 40K special pack. Nothing is really known about what or where you will be cleaning in the world of Warhammer 40K but expect to see some of your favorite vehicles and locations painstakingly recreated. Sure those locations and vehicles will be covered in dirt and more but it will make it that much sweeter to clean. This pack is scheduled for later 2023.

PowerWash Simulator is wonderfully done and its popularity just kept escalating. Everything you wash grows in size and scope till you’re cleaning whole temples. The game’s popularity isn’t slowing down any time soon and if you finish cleaning the Grimdark, you might enjoy these other crossovers, too.

Tomb Raider

The first crossover released by the developers was a Lara Croft’s home from Tomb Raider called the Tomb Raider Special Pack. The home is massive and is full of Easter Eggs from throughout the series including treasures and an obstacle course. This pack came out on January 31st and is available now.

Final Fantasy VII

The second pack is a massive crossover with Final Fantasy VII called the Midgar Special Pack. This crossover has players cleaning up five new locations from the world of Final Fantasy VII! You’ll get to explore the Seventh Heaven Bar in detail as well as see famous mechs and vehicles like the Scorpion Sentinel and the Hardy Daytona. The team worked very closely with Square Enix to make sure it was just right. This pack was released on March 2nd and is available now.

SpongeBob Squarepants

The team has an upcoming pack called the SpongeBob SquarePants Special Pack. This pack will let players explore different locations in Bikini Bottom and power wash the hell of out of it. The trailer announced in May showed off SpongeBob’s street and other locations like the Krusty Krab and the Mermalair have been confirmed by the developers. So keep an eye out for vehicles like the Patty Wagon and the Invisible Boatmobile while cleaning. You may have to have the power washer to “Wumbo” for the best clean. This pack is set for a June 29th release according to the game’s Twitter page.

Simulator games are everywhere and you know you have something special when so many properties want in. The game is planned for VR as well, so hopefully, all the content will be a part of it for fans to look at these locations like they are there.

Powerwash Simulator is out for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC
