A new RTS, a new vehicle Combat Game, a new look at Space Marine 2, Rogue Trader, and SO much more. Warhammer Skulls 2023, here we go!!!

Games Workshop just hosted Warhammer Skulls on their twitch channel and there were loads of exciting reveals. If you want to re-watch the show you can still do that. But if you’re just looking for some highlights, we’ve got you covered. There’s also a TON more stuff going on all over the place on the various game delivery systems like Steam, Gog, and Epic. If you want the full run down you can check out the WarCom article for more info. That said, here’s the things that really got our Warhammers swinging!

Space Marine II – New Teaser

We’re pumped about Space Marine II. This teaser showcased some of the Tyranids you’ll be eviscerating in exquisite details. Obviously this one high up on our list and we cannot wait to see more!

Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader

Rogue Trader is going to be one of those games that I think is going to surprise a lot of folks. It’s a classic CRPG and I’m getting some major “X-COM meets Baldur’s Gate in 40k” vibes — and that’s freakin’ awesome. Also, uh…was that a Space Wolf fighting Drukhari in a very Dark Eldar setting? Because that’s just rad! I have high hopes for this one. Also, Spaceship combat?!  Hell yes. If you don’t have this wishlisted, you should get on that right now. There’s a Beta kicking off on June 1st and I want in.

Warhammer: Age of Sigmar – Realms of Ruin

An RTS set in the Mortal Realms with four factions to throw-down with? Also, it’s going to be 1v1, 2v2 and cross-platform multiplayer? Okay, wow…that’s gonna be ambitious. For now, we got a look at the Stormcast Eternals and the Kruleboyz in action. I’m curious to see more from this one for sure!

Total War: Warhammer III – Harry the Hammer!

Chaos Champ Harry the Hammer is coming to Total War: Warhammer III. I don’t think I need to explain this one or why we’re hyped. Harry is awesome.

Warhammer 40,000: Speed Freeks

Speed Freeks is a vehicle combat game where you get to choose between 7 different ork vehicles and have chaotic 16 player matches. There’s dakka, there’s powerklaws, there’s rokkits…and it looks like an absolute madhouse blast. There’s a public Alpha that is kicking off on Steam today! You gotta try this one out.

Warhammer 40,000: Dark Tide – New Content Update ‘Rejects Unite’

Okay, so this game has been a mixed bag. I personally put some hours into this one when it launched and while it was fun enough it felt like it wasn’t quite “there” yet. I played with a group and while we had a good time we all kinda quit playing. However, it’s been almost 6 months since launch and there’s been a lot of updates and content drops. The latest is Rejects Unite which adds 2 new missions and a bunch of weapon updates. If you haven’t played in a while (like me) this now is a good time to fire it back up and check out the changes. I think it’s making progress and want to give this squad based looter-shooter another go.

Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector — New Orks DLC
