Warhammer 40K Next Week – Leviathan Launches, 10th Edition Is Coming
It’s here at last. After the hype, leaks (with nary a Pinkerton in sight), and wait, Leviathan launches for pre-order next week.
Well we’re here folks. Staring down the barrel of a new edition once more. Come Saturday June 10th, Leviathan launches. And it’s the largest edition launch box yet. Space Marines clash with Tyranids, a classic combo that hopefully means we get even more ‘nid love while Chaos cools their heels.
Though it’s just a matter of time, really. Next Saturday the pre-order windows go up at certain times depending on your region. Games Workshop has your box with a handy chart:

Leviathan Launch Box – Marines, ‘Nids, What More Do You Need?
Leviathan is an apt name for this boxed set, because it is truly humongous. There are a whopping 72 new miniatures in the box. The forces of the Adeptus Astartes come swinging in hot and heavy with a Primaris Lieutenant in Phobos Armor and his retinue:
- Captain in Terminator Armor
- Librarian in Terminator Armor
- Apothecary Biologis
- Five Terminators
- Five Sternguard
- Ballistus Dreadnought
- Ten Infernus Marines
That’s 25 marines all in all. Hopefully they’ll be able to hold their own against the Tyranid swarm.
Hive Fleet Leviathan has assembled a truly devastating array of bioweapons, though, including a Winged Tyranid Prime as well as:
- Neurotyrant
- Two Neuroloids
- Von Ryan’s Leapers
- Psychophage
- 20 Termagants
- Two Ripper Swarms
- 11 Neurogants
- Five Barbgaunts
