Help your wizard keep a list of all of their spells and, more importantly, show up to the next town in style with these magic accessories.

There’s a lot to keep track of if you’re playing a wizard. Between being one of the squishiest classes in the Player’s Handbook, lists of spells, and don’t even get me started on spell components. There’s a lot. But maybe some of these accessories will be just the wizard tools you’re looking for to make your next adventure a little easier.

1. Spell Cards

Not only do wizards have an extensive list of spells to choose from, but they can swap out what spells they have prepared on a pretty regular basis. Writing and re-writing your prepared spell list can be a huge pain in the behind, but you just don’t need every spell for every adventure. So what’s the perfect answer? Spell cards. Organized by level for your convenience, you can literally swap these out every long rest and never have to worry about smudging or ripping a paper character sheet again.

2. Wizard Mini

There are lots of options for minis out there and I happen to like these. But if you’re playing an in-person game with grids and maps and the whole nine yards, a mini is pretty much a necessity. Pick the one that looks the most like your character (or design your own on Hero Forge), paint it, and get crawling through that dungeon.

3. Wizard Dice

PolyHero has a whole line of dice sets based on the different D&D classes, and these are their wizard dice in acid splash green. But what’s cool about these dice is they don’t look like classic shaped dice with different colors or effects inside, they are shaped to look like the tools that class would wield. So wizard dice include a d4 bolt, a d6 fireball, a d8 scroll, d10/1100 potions, d12 wand, and two d20 magic orbs. Of course, you may prefer the classic dice-shaped dice and that’s okay.

4. More Wizard Dice

Turns out, if you search for ‘wizard dice’ online, you’ll get a huge variety of very, very cool-looking dice. Some come in fun wizardly shapes, but others simply look like magic. And the gold on blue on gold this set uses falls very much into the looking like magic category. I think these dice are almost captivatingly gorgeous, and I bet your wizard would feel all sorts of fancy and regal to be rolling with them.

5. Wizard Token Set

Like we said earlier, there’s a lot to keep track of when you’re playing a wizard. But I think this cute little set will make your life just a little easier. Tokens and a dry-erase card will help you keep constant tabs on your character’s status, inspiration, hit points, spell slots, and all of the other basics you’ll want available at a moment’s notice. Never forget that you’re inspired or knocked prone again.

Oh hey! BoLS might make a little dolla-dolla if you decide to buy these items. We need that money to fix everything out wizard cast Fireball at (this week).
