It’s that time once again, Spoiler Season for the upcoming Commander Masters 2023 set. Today, White spoilers, tomorrow, the world.

The Commander Masters 2023 set promises all sorts of power in ever pack. What does that mean, exactly? Well as these new spoilers will show, it means a lot of old favorites back with gorgeous new art.

And the White set, this time around, looks particularly enticing, what with its new versions of old dinosaurs, dinosaur avatars, and a whole lot of other stuff that isn’t a dinosaur, so I personally care much less about it. Regardless, we’re taking a look.

Commander Masters 2023 – White Spoilers

We kick things off with a Cat Cleric and Cat Knight, which already calls to mind a kitty deck. Will Cat be playable? Or will it simply turn tail and bite the hand that pets it?

Meanwhile, Angels and boring Humans get a ton of love in this set. Humans are everywhere in Magic, but Soldiers, Clerics, and more tend to show up in White, especially with Angels backing them up. Or, y’know, leading the way, as is their wont. And Heliod is back, looking a bit refreshed from the Magic equivalent of Endgame. Aspiring Cat-manders, though, will take an interest in Jazal Goldmane, a Cat Warrior and legendary creature.

You might also find your Cat Cleric dreams fulfilled with Kemba, Kha Regent. Kemba plays extremely well with Jazal, or anyone else because you just get free cats for every piece of gear you have equipped on Kemba. Which can help you ramp to the moon in no time flat if you literally play your cards right.

But it’s not all cats and kittens. Here we get a look at the good stuff, at last. Wakening Sun’s Avatar is one dino who is the absolute tricera-tops. Wakening Sun’s Avatar clears the path when it enters the battlefield from your hand.

Leaving things perfectly primed for Zetalpa, Primal Dawn to swoop in and pick up victory in its terrifying jaws.

All this in Commander Masters 2023!
