Necromunda: New Squat Claim Jumper & Free Mission Download

Games Workshop has a brand new Squat Claim Jumper mini as well as separate free scenario for you to play!

Necromunda is getting a couple of new releases from GW. First up we have the new Claim Jumper and his trusty sidekick the Techmite Autoveyor.

Squat Claim Jumper with Techmite

With a nose for finding unstaked mining sites and sniffing out potential plunder, these hardy explorers trudge the wastes, tools in hand and gem extractor poised to extract treasures. Long-established protocol dictates that any staked resource sites belong to the House that found them, but Claim Jumpers have been known to swipe the goodies before a gang can even set up shop. That power pick is good for more than just digging.

From the looks of things the Claim Jumper is going to either be a member of the Ironhead Squat Prospectors or at least another Hanger-on to recruit to various gangs. I wouldn’t be surprised if he and his trusty Techmite showed up as both. Whatever the case these resin miniatures will be available from Forge World soon.

New Scenario Download – Sail The Sump Sea

Additionally, GW also has a new scenario for you to try your hand at. This one is called Spiders of the Sump and has you facing off against some…troubling mutants.

After Sump City was overrun by crazed followers of the Dark Gods, the Escher gang leader Jelena and her Carrion Queens, along with a ragtag band of survivors, escaped on ships into the expanse of the sump. Lost in the darkness for days, at last the beleaguered flotilla saw a light on the horizon, and perhaps salvation, though would soon have to deal with a new horror of deep…

Uh…that sure looks like a Skaven mutant to me! Anyhow on to the scenario…

Because this mission takes place on the Sump Sea it does have some interesting alternative Sump Sea Vehicles to try out. One example is the Sludge Barge:
