There’s a new preview this weekend featuring the winner of the Battle for Oghram. Here’s our wishlist for the Space Marines.

So the Battle for Oghram is wrapped-up. Unfortunately we still don’t know who won. We are assuming it was the Tyranids just based on what the last update was however we don’t know for sure. That’s why yesterday we did this same thing for Tyranids. Today, we’re taking a crack at the Space Marines wishlist if they do end up with a win.

Primaris Ballistus Dreadnought Kit

“But wait, wasn’t that in the Leviathan Box?” Yes. But we want to see the solo release one because you know there’s going to be a different version that allows you to have different weapon options and multi-pose plastic bits. We saw this with the Redemptor Dreadnought and it’s Easy to Build version. So you know there’s one coming. Hopefully with some more long range options or the ability to have a left and right arm that are the same weapon. And speaking of Easy to Build versions…

New Infernus Squad

These models were also Easy to Build. So I’m thinking that there is probably a full multi-pose kit on the way for them as well. I’m a little surprised the Battle for Oghram was as close as is was because these models are tailor made to incinerate lightly armored targets and they were included in the Leviathan box. Oh well. Maybe the new kit will have them fare better.

A New Primaris Flyer

Games Workshop has been reinventing all the Space Marine units and the Storm Talon and Stormhawk are examples of Flyers that are somewhere in the middle of the old Space Marines and the new Primaris. They were introduced before Primaris but certainly had some new “tech” involved. I have long expected that a Primaris-style aircraft has been in the works. I wonder if we’ll see that in 10th edition.

New Terminator Kit

Games Workshop also made a big deal about the new Terminators. While I do like these models and the fact they are larger than before I also wonder if we’re going to see another box for them that allows for even greater customization. Furthermore, what about Assault Terminators? I can’t wait to see if we get Thunderhammer/Stormshields and Lightning Claws with his up-scaled version of the Terminators.

A Completely New Unit

I’ve been pushing for these for a while but I’d love to see some Assault Inceptors get created. But that said, you know that GW has some more Space Marine craziness on ice just waiting to be released. There’s going to be some completely new unit(s) that we’ve never seen before and they are going to be added to the Space Marine roster.

I mean we were all kind of shocked at the new Desolation Squad. So who knows what else GW has planned for the most popular and largest model range in Warhammer 40,000.

You know more Space Marine kits are coming. What do YOU think we’ll see…eventually.
