Warhammer Preview Online: Battle For Oghram – Tyranids Win
The Battle for Oghram has ended and with over 44,000 results the Tyranids claim victory!
Games Workshop’s massive world wide campaign has ended and the results ended up being super close. But at the end of the day the Tyranid invasion proved to be too much for the Space Marines.

The final numbers don’t quite tell the full story though. At the start of the campaign the Space Marines were ahead and at multiple points during the course of the battle things flipped back and forth quite a bit. Every box of the Leviathan had a special one-use code that players could enter to report their results. What’s really crazy is the number of battles that were reported in at over 44,000 battles!
Considering the price point you can do some quick math and figure what that translated into as sales for Games Workshop. And considering how it sold out online, well, you get the idea.
The Leviathan box and the Battle For Oghram has been a massive hit for Games Workshop and a great launch for Warhammer 40,000 10th Edition. What’s really cool is that this event did have a reward for the winning side: early previews! That means the Tyranids are getting all the previews for the Warhammer Preview Online today.
This also means that the Tyranids are also getting the first codex for Warhammer 40,000 10th Edition which has been confirmed by GW today.
