The Loyalists in the Horus Heresy are getting a new Champion to bolster their ranks. And he’s packing a might sword for head-taking!

Look out Traitor Marines because this Loyalist Champion is ready to put you on the chopping block. I wonder which model this could be the prototype for in the 40k age…

The finest blades of each Legion are often elevated to the level of Champions, receiving the finest armour available, and a very nice weapon to show off to all their battle brothers.

These Champions of the Legion are chosen for their martial prowess, and must uphold the honour of their Chapter and Company in battle. They are equipped with their Legion’s finest weapons and armour and put them to use for one simple task – seeking out the foe’s mightiest warriors, and slaying them in glorious duels.

Loyalist Champion

This will be a new resin model from Forge World and will have an alternate head with a helmet option. He will come with a massive paragon blade and some era-appropriate Power Armor. Additionally, he also comes with a combi-melta which is perfect for cracking any traitor’s armored hides!

I’m really liking the look of this champion and while he is painted up as an Imperial Fist the model itself doesn’t appear to have any Legion-specific markings. So you should be able to add him to any Loyalist forces.

“This relentless head-lopper will be available for pre-order in the near future. Make sure you keep checking back every Thursday for your weekly dose of Heresy. Next week, we have a suspicion we’ll be getting the magnifying glass out again…”

Good to know this models will be arriving very soon to pre-order. But it’s also quite the tease that next week will probably have something to do with Legions Imperialis. If you’re a Horus Heresy fan there’s lots of great news to be excited about.

That’s one MASSIVE sword — it’s as tall as a Space Marine in their armor!
