Warhammer: The Old World – Bretonnian Battle Standard Bearer
The Warhammer Preview Online showed off more from the Old World. Meet the Bretonnian Battle Standard Bearer!
With all the excitement that’s happening from this morning’s preview we need to take a moment to appreciate the little guys. Well, in this case, he’s not that little. Check out the Bretonnian Battle Standard Bearer:
Bretonnians are known for their knights. And their heraldry. So it’s not surprising that we’re getting both here. It’s an impressive knight model and it’s certainly a callback to the Old World.
It’s nice that the details are there and also that this feels like an old school Bretonnian even with some more modern sculpting enhancements. It’s certainly new — but it’s not going to look entirely out of place compared to an old Bretonnian knight. It does have a tactical rock though.
We’ll keep an eye out for more news from the Old World. It’s still a ways off but these updates are interesting — even if it’s just a single model. Also, just based on what they’ve teased so far, it does feel like a Bretonnian vs Tomb Kings box could be the launch box. Anyone else have a guess as to what else it could be?
At least it wasn’t just another map…but I DO like the maps.
