Games Workshop’s streaming service Warhammer+ has a ton of cool offerings coming and they are teasing new minis for subscribers, too.

One of the best parts about Warhammer+ (aside from the streaming content, access to the massive Warhammer Vault of old content, and more stuff in the App) are the exclusive miniatures you can get with a subscription. We’ve had some impressive ones in the past like Azarkh the Annihilator and Mibyllorr Darkfang:

However, but those are rotating out for next year and there’s a new pair on the way…

“Dozens of animations have already been produced, bringing the Warhammer setting to life like never before. Anthology show Hammer and Bolter brings a variety of stories that run from the epic to the intimate, Interrogator is a pitch-black noir story with a psychic twist, The Exodite is a thrilling battle from start to finish, while Blacktalon paints a complex picture of Sigmar’s greatest assassin.

And there’s more to come – here’s a teaser of some of the amazing content that’s coming to Warhammer+ soon.”

All we are getting so far is a silhouette of the new miniatures. That said, I think we can take some educated guesses as to what we’re getting. Let’s start with the easy one on the right side.

This miniature has some fairly obvious signs as to what it could be. There’s the cable running to the lasgun (which probably means it’s a hotshot lasgun). There’s the sword which looks like it’s probably means this is an officer and not just a “dude” and we also has the helmet and comms wire on the backpack. Clearly this is a member of the Astra Militarum. And that wargear points at a very specific unit: Kasrkin.

Now, there’s a chance this could be something else…but I’m feeling pretty confident that this model is probably going to be a character or some other unique Kasrkin model. Which is cool! And now that we’ve got that one hammered out, let’s talk about the other model.

So my very first inclination was that this was a Drukhari Archon. However, that was because there’s like a one second flash of this miniature and everything was spinning. Now that I’ve gotten a screengrab and taken some time to look at it there’s also some pretty big clues as to what this could be. The first major clue was actually the previous model. The Kasrkin are in 40k and since GW typically has made a model for AoS and 40k as part of the exclusives for Warhammer+ that means this is likely an AoS model.

Now, from there we can see the silhouette has some other distinct features. It’s holding a goblet for starters. That’s an …odd choice. But no matter! We can also see the sword has some bone-like ornamentation on it. We can also tell this model has a big cape and some sort of horned head or horned helmet.  The horns made me think it was a chaos model but that goblet and the sword made me rethink that entirely. I’m pretty sure what we’ve got here is a Vampire on Foot.

With that helm and those shoulder pads, I’m guessing it’s a Blood Knight. And that’s totally cool with me! I’m looking forward to the full model reveals later.

So unless GW is throwing us a really big curveball, we’re getting a Vampire and a Kasrkin model for Warhammer+ subscribers.
