Games Workshop Rumor Engine: Certainly Some Skulls
Skulls and Warhammer go together like peanut butter and jelly. The Rumor Engine for this week highlights that fact!
It’s another fine Tuesday which means it’s time for a new Rumor Engine from Games Workshop. Today, we’ve got a look at some rather odd skulls as well as another clue. But take a look for yourself before we start making guesses.
Certainly Some Skulls
Well, we’ve got Skulls! It appears we actually have three if you look closely. The first one is on the left and has a strange triangle carved into the forehead. The second and third skulls appear to be tied together with some strange bindings as one is a humanoid skull set inside a beast’s skull. Creepy.
The final clue is the strange bar with the pitchfork like marking on it. I’m assuming that’s some type of metal and not a bar of soap. Now, I’m a little rusty on my runes but if you know what that symbol is for let us know in the comments because that will crack this case wide open!
Here’s some old school Chaos Runes and you can see they don’t quite match — but they aren’t that far off either.
And again, here are some old school High Elf Runes — these are much more curvy and thick in places vs the runes we see above. I thought that maybe the runes on the bar could be from the Daughters of Khaine at first glance but now I’m not sure.
Perhaps it’s not Chaos or Order but rather something from Death and Destruction? I’m sure someone is going to recognize this one immediately and let us know. In the meantime, if you’ve got a guess let us know what you think it could be in the comments!
