As part of the Traitor Curse anniversary update, Warhammer 40K: Darktide has a batch of new cosmetics and a new teaser, both out today!

The Traitor Curse update for Warhammer 40K: Darktide brings whole new wrinkles to the unfolding story of Tertium. Including the continued rollout of the overhauled Veteran’s kit, as well as a number of other improvements that build on the Darktide Class Overhaul. Which, if you haven’t been playing along, is basically making Darktide what it always wanted to be.

Or at least a good deal more fun to play these days. There’s more customization, more missions, and definitely more challenges to tackle. And the Traitor Curse update is so big it’s split into two parts. That means today’s release is only part of what you can expect from the anniversary celebration.

What dark fate lies in store for the rejects of Tertium? What heretical new gear can you outfit your character in? Find out below!

Warhammer 40K Darktide Gets New Cosmetics, New Story Nugget

Let’s start with the new teaser, Vox Intercept II. In these Vox Intercepts, listeners can hear radio chatter detailing the slow advance of the story. Here we learn that Zola has gone off on her own in search of Wolfer. Hm. Someone going off on their own to hunt down an agent of Chaos who, specifically, is very good at corrupting people?

That’s going to end well. We’ll find out more as the Traitor Curse update rolls out. But, for now, this is an ominous start.

What isn’t ominous, though, are the new cosmetics that accompany today’s teaser. Or that today’s teaser accompanies, depending on how you look at it.

The Moebian Gear is a set of cosmetics available as part of the anniversary celebration.

They come in a variety of pieces for each class/character:

And as we mentioned, this is just the start of it all. If you want to see for yourself, be sure and check out Darktide on your platform of choice.

More heretical updates are soon to follow, as Fatshark aims for early December for the Traitor Curse: Part 2!
