One last pre-order preview before the holidays. This time, it’s one of the perfidious members of Alpha Legion. Or is it? It is.

Well here we are, one week out from the holidays. And next week’s pre-orders are looming large, with the Tyranid reinforcements swarming in, the new Deathgorge and Kill Team waiting to add even more ways to die in the Mortal Realms and 41st Millennium. There’s a lot to look forward to.

But lurking in among them, one of the most duplicitous miniatures to ever slink out of the Alpha Legion. For your games of Horus Heresy, consider the Alpha Legion Saboteur Consul. If that’s indeed who he says he is.

Alpha Legion Saboteur Consul

This Forge World miniature is resin, but hey, what else would you expect from one of the most elite elite operatives in the Legion known for only employing double agents. The Alpha Legion Saboteur Consul is especially skilled. Described as “the last word in misdirection” this elite assassin can infiltrate the enemy, kill their leadership, and of course sabotage their battle lines.

All of which is extremely hard to represent on the tabletop, where if you suddenly didn’t get to have 400 points of your army you’d feel real frustrated. So that means he’s probably got some deep strike stuff. But who knows! At any rate, it’s great to see Alpha Legion getting some time out of the shadows, even if it is where they hate to be.

And More

Of course there’s more than just the Alpha Legion coming next week. We’ve already seen these, but as a reminder, you’ll get the Kill Team Salvation boxed set, which pits Striking Scorpions against Space Marine Scouts in the midst of an Ad-Mech facility.

Killzone: Bheta-Decmia is the accompanying terrain kit, which comes with plenty of gantries, walkways, catwalks, and other narrow, raised terrain from which one could plummet to their death.

The pre-order release of Daggok’s Stab-Ladz, the Kruleboyz Warband for Warhammer Underworld: Deathgorge, also happens to be next week. So, get ready for the holidays whether you like your miniatures covered in skulls from the future or skulls from the past.

And of course, all the new Tyranid miniatures that have been unchained from the Leviathan boxed set will finally be available on their own. So you can reinforce your Tyranid army the way you want it to be. Excited to get Von Ryan’s Leapers out there en masse.

All this, next week! But actually next week this time!
