The D&D campaign that started it all for Dimension 20, Fantasy High Junior Year, premieres today! Get ready, intrepid heroes!

Dimension 20 is Dropout’s ongoing series of actual play games that features a rotating cast of both games and characters. Through the last four years, which is a surprisingly short amount of time, the series has explored farm animal murder mysteries, weasel heists, gone inside the human mind, and explored New York City (you know, the place where they make the salsa that everyone loves).

But the gaming arm of Dropout TV all began with one simple idea: D&D High School. What if, in the midst of a fantasy world, there lived a town that basically ran on the laws of a John Hughes movie?

And so Fantasy High began. And today, the gang (led by DM Brennan Lee Mulligan) is back for another big adventure. Fantasy High Junior Year premieres this evening!

Fantasy High Junior Year Premieres Today

The Bad Kids return for a new year at the Aguefort Adventuring Academy – filled with new challenges, new enemies, and new allies. Premieres January 10th on Dropout. To catch up on Fantasy High, sign up for Dropout today!

And make no mistake, Fantasy High was one of the first big hit shows for Dropout. According to Dropout’s CEO, Sam Reich, “out of the gate, no show resonated with [their] audience like Dimension 20: Fantasy High.”

This is the return of a much longer form for the series. As Fantasy High: Junior Year is a full 20-episode series, featuring some of the most ambitious work from Dimension 20 yet. There are amazing custom miniatures sculpted for every character and set piece. It’s worth it just to watch to see what Rick Perry (not that one) comes up with.

And, of course, there’s going to be plenty of stuff behind the scenes as the cast do “Adventuring Party” talkbacks about each episode. So you can follow along with all that extra goodness. Here’s a glimpse of a little of what awaits.

You can sign up for Dropout at Dropout.tv, and be sure and catch the premiere of Dimension 20: Fantasy High Junior Year later this afternoon!

Final exams and final bosses collide.
