Humanity’s fate hangs in the balance in Halo Season Two—can John find its salvation? Watch the new trailer packed with interstellar combat.

Halo is a live-action adaptation of the immensely popular game series. It’s set during a 26th-century conflict between humanity and the Covenant, a powerful alien threat. It focuses on Master Chief John-117 and his elite squad of Spartans. It’s rooted in decades of Halo novels, movies, and games – but the story is on its own timeline.

The first season debuted to mixed reviews. As a non-player, I found it to be a decent show. It kept my attention, even though it’s a bit formulaic and wears some of its inspirations on its sleeve. The full season is on Paramount+ now. You have time to watch it before Halo Season Two arrives.

Halo Season Two

In Halo Season Two, Master Chief John-117 continues to lead his team of Spartans against the Covenant. After a life-changing event on a desolate planet, he believes that the Covenant is preparing to attack humanity’s greatest stronghold. Not everyone believes his intuition, but John is ready to risk everything to prove that he’s right about a coming attack.

With the galaxy on the verge of destruction, John goes on a journey to find the key to humanity’s salvation… or extinction. The Halo.
